Samba Africa voluntary Organization (SAVO) welcomes you to Ghana, the land of hospitality, rich culture and traditions.

SAVO is a volunteer driven non-profit NGO based in Kumasi (Ghana) which aims to provide best opportunities for the needy people in under privileged communities through better health, education, and sustainable development.

Our program is based on a collective commitment to support the Goals and thus we defend an integrated approach to sustainable development. That means that our projects not only aim to lift people out of poverty but also:
• Promoting education to reduce illiteracy:
• fight the spread of HIV/AIDS and other diseases:
• Helping and creating opportunities for the Orphanages
• promoting culture in West Africa
• You can become involved in helping to develop communities in Ghana. With such a variety of projects this program has made to suit everyone.

SAVO-Ghana is one of the fastest growing volunteer Placement organizations in Ghana. We are dedicated to give meaningful and affordable volunteer program across Ghana.
You have the chance to make changes in the lives of under-privileged children in orphanages, and to contribute to teaching, and community work.
The projects offer you an opportunity to experience the real Ghanaian way of life, whilst making a lasting difference in local communities.

Please Note: Non-Refundable Registration Fee - $200 (which we need to advertise, cover office expense and pay salary,Volunteer Membership ID Card) Samba Africa offer you the most affordable weekly program fee, which includes accommodation , meals 3 times a day, project details, field support, etc.

I would wholeheartedly recommend volunteering in Ghana with the Samba Africa Voluntary Organization to anyone interested in a year out or spending time in Africa. Volunteering and staying with local family enabled me to come to a far greater understanding of the country and its people than I would have had if I had just been traveling and staying in hotels, and enables you to give something to the people you meet.
