I took up Volunteering with KIDF Pakistan during my Summer Vacations of 2015 in the beautiful valley of Gilgit-Baltistan as a Social Mobilizer. Our Campaign was based on advocacy for saving Nature and Endangered Species in the mountains of Karakuram & Himalayas. As part of the campaign, we visited some of the wonderful scenic placed on earth. The Deosai National Park at 15000 feet, The Khunjerab National Park and the valleys of Humza, Naltar in Gilgit and Hushe and Skardu in Baltistan. We visited historic forts, beautiful lakes and green valleys during the campaign. The campaign provided us an opportunity for a month long picnic tour, enjoyment, great learning as well as a community service.
