Community Based Organization

Organization Location:
Help Child Foundation
  • Kasoa, Ghana
Organization Description
The vision of Help Child Foundation is a world where the rights of every child to quality education and a family life are realized.

Our mission is to promote youth and family empowerment and children’s rights to education and freedom from forced labour in Ghana. We deliver social justice interventions to children, women, and underserved communities in the coastal and farming communities of Ghana. This includes rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration of children who have been trafficked in the farming and fishing industry, as well as creating community awareness of these issues in order to prevent trafficking and re-trafficking of children.

Help Child Foundation also contributes to policy and awareness creation and the public discourse on issues affecting Ghanaian children. Additionally, the organization runs a school for more than 250 children who are survivors of child trafficking or who are at-risk of child trafficking.

Help Child Foundation protects children from slavery in the quarry industry around Kasoa and it's environs. We not only directly rescue children in forced labour, offering a holistic programme of rehabilitation and reintegration, but also empower communities to protect children from human trafficking.
