Organization Description
Hapa Resources (HR) works to empower communities and is registered as a social enterprise. We work to provide comprehensive approaches to challenges related to youth empowerment and skills development in low-resource communities. ​In doing so, HR establishes partnerships aimed at; engaging in development initiatives that have direct linkages to:

Community Health and Participatory Research;
Youth skilling and micro-enterprise promotion; and
Experteering and Community development.

Our Mission

We work to establish collaborations aimed at active engagement through; practical empowerment and skill-based training opportunities and providing access to tools necessary to enhance livelihood development in informal communities.

Our opportunities are available with our local partners in the areas below:

- Community/health centers
- Social services, social work
- Education i.e. volunteer interns/teachers in primary& secondary schools

The projects we spear-head are directed towards supporting; education, medical and health institutions by establishing collaborations directly related to health challenges within resource-limited communities.
Volunteer and Service Learning, Sports Coaching,Corporate Volunteering
We offer short term (less than 3 months), medium term (3 to 12 months) and long term placements (more than 12 months). Our opportunities are adequate for; under graduate, gap-year and graduate students, hobbyist volunteers and interns in the areas of; education, health and community-based projects with our partners.

Our Commitment to Community
The projects we spearhead are geared towards supporting medical and health institutions by establishing collaborations directly related to addressing challenges within resource-limited communities. Our project partnerships are not about providing material assistance but about a process of working together to meet needs.

Tailor-made opportunities for individuals and groups - We welcome applications from individuals and groups of participants above 18 years, from diverse backgrounds to enroll for opportunities that offer active engagement in support of communities and accept donations to help us meet project funding needs.
Be sure to let us know if you are in position to work with us by becoming a local fundraiser in your community before, during and after your volunteer trip. We want to develop a long term relationship with you.
