Bio: 
After my international education at the Frankfurt International School, I am now a first year student at the University of California at San Diego, where I plan to graduate in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am eager to continue my studies in Psychology because I am fascinated by how our ability to gain perspective and adjust our attitude towards distinct situations and ideas substantiates the difference between illusion and reality and shapes the world around us.
Volunteering Experience: 
June 2013 – July 2013 Internship: KLW GmbH business and personnel consulting, 61352 Bad Homburg • Instruction of the range of tasks carried out within the firm, for example, construction of job profiles, online market selection, media planning, personnel marketing activities, layout/design, target group analysis • Editing of target company lists, candidate profiles, status reports August 2013 Internship: 7 Seas Aquaristik, 91171 Greding • Independent development and execution of scientific research, regarding long-snouted seahorses (Hippocampus reidi), including data acquisition and analysis and writing of short unpublished paper “Does the long-snouted seahorse, Hippocampus reidi, prefer a certain type of holdfast (air hose, seagrass (Caulerpa taxifolia), tubeworm (Sabella sp.) and artificial boxtree) in an aquarium environment?” • Daily maintenance work • Disease detection and treatment • Independent maintenence and tendance oft he seehorses in the 2nd week • Insight into the transport and catching of fish and invertebrates • Planning and organisation of welfare oriented and species-appropriate animal husbandry June 2015 – Today Internship: Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry, 80804 München
