Bio:
I'm a Englishman who has been living in Norway for the last thirteen years with his German girlfriend. We do not have children but that's not to say they won't come along soon! I'm very active and have visited over sixty countries to date. This has been achieved through work - I am educated as a land surveyor but have spent the last year as a construction project manager - but mostly through a love of adventure motorcycling, which has taken me through North, Central and South America and most of Europe and Central Asia. I'm a keen outdoor individual enthusiast - running and cycling are passions - and I firmly believe I'm someone who gets the most out of life. I've been lucky enough to live a rich and interesting life, in my opinion. I'm resourceful, hard working and keenly aware of what is going on not just locally but also globally. I do not have a specific religious preference but do not judge people who do. Everyone should be able to live as they desire, showing respect for each other and the environment when doing so.
Volunteering Experience:
I do not have any volunteering experience unfortunately, but I've talked about it for many years. I've supported MSF for nearly 15 years and raised money for them on numerous occasions. Because of work I find myself with some free time and I thought that I could donate a couple of weeks of my time to a volunteering placement, should something suit. However, my work commitments may change so I need to keep an eye on this situation. Having not undertaken any volunteering before I am unsure what to expect. However, I would like to get involved with children, relief efforts in an area that requires it (Nepal, for example) or assist in any potential construction activities.
Education:
Degree in Offshore Surveying, Project Management
Occupation:
Project Manager
