Mature and lively, I have a variety of outside interests and remain committed to improving my teaching skills further and contributing to the success of the school. Having worked and studied in Australia and the UK for more than 10 years I am fluent in English. In addition, I am fluent in German and have developed proficiency in Danish, Spanish and French. I graduated as PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Abertay Dundee, UK in 2011. I am experienced in teaching small and large groups and preparing teaching material in English. As researcher and lecturer I taught the module ‘Research and Communication’ to first year students (70 students) and developed an environmental science masters course. Moreover, I am experienced in supervising undergraduate, Master and PhD students in conducting research projects. I provided students with developmental feedback on module assignments. I also developed undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Environmental Sciences for post-2017 portfolio. As CT lab manager I trained new users in the use of the laboratory facilities. In 2011 I developed a program and taught at a 2 week course on X-ray CT and image analysis to students and senior academics.
