Bio:
Since my early childhood I have displayed entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills and agriculture interest; trying to organize colleagues in clubs and groups, and assisting my parents to the agricultural field activities where I was always interested in producing for myself. So it was inevitable that my career path would eventually lead me toward the field of management and rural development and agribusiness. When I was doing my secondary studies, I was mostly elected by colleagues as a leader in different clubs, movements, associations and / or Prayer groups. This has given me more experiences, especially, relative to human management and organization. It was, indeed, my moment to learn and develop my talent. With these opportunities, my motivation was to bring some innovations in our organization and try providing sustainable solutions to our internal problems. At the end of my secondary studies, leadership skills are intrinsic and essential to both my family as well as my current surrounding community. I now became a community oriented through working for different NGOs. IMBERE HEZA asbl/Kamegeri was a first financial organization to hire me as an accountant and was further promoted to be a sector coordinator. Additionally, my skills have developed through solid work and entrepreneurial spirit endured, various professional development training opportunities during my working years and from holding a keen interest in agriculture, I started my University studies at the University of Rwanda, College of agriculture, animal sciences and veterinary medicine. During my stay at the University, my experience continued to grow through leading students communities and became later hired by a local youth organization i.e. Youth Volunteers without Boarders (YVB) as a District coordinator. However, gaining a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Rural development and agribusiness, Specialization would offer me the opportunity to consolidate my experiences and skills as well as gain further skills and insights in field of leadership, development and business administration. I started to personally think of establishing my own organization (NGO) that would meet the community needs. Therefore, I was blessed to successfully start “The Community Services Association “to offer to the community different management, scientific and business consulting services. (Check my Blog at: www.sangwamukiza.wix.com/sangwa).
Volunteering Experience:
I am always committed to human relations in multiple ways. I have always been zealous in serving all, but especially the poorest marginalized communities. However, I started to get fully involved in volunteerism activites at the end of my secondary education (2010) through IMBERE HEZA asbl and later created, with other youth, a youth organization i.e YOUTH VOLUNTEERS WITHOUT BORDERS (YVB-RWANDA). I am currentely the district coordinator with a blessing of being liked by youth communties. Since I am interested in youth development and opportunities, I am now launching another Community-oriented Youth organization for community servces i.e COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATION , "CSA-RWANDA" ( www.sangwamukiza.wix.com/sangwa)
