Bio:
I am a creative bubbly individual who does not find it hard to adapt to any situation I am put in, I love life and I love giving back to people, I tend to travel and explore whenever I get the time and money! I love seeing the world for what it really is, I am not afraid to try new things and love living life to the fullest, My aspirations are to become a Drama teacher when I graduate and obtain my degree and teaching qualification, I am currently embarking on experiences and opportunities which will help me get closer to that goal. Any given opportunity I get I love to work with children as I always want to give back!
Volunteering Experience:
I previously volunteered in America at a summer camp for 3 months in 2013, here I was teaching and facilitating Drama workshops for american children aged 7-15, this was particularly fun for me as I was out of my own country for a very long time and was able to adapt and learn new things, also I was able to bring new teachings to a whole new bunch of kids! I really enjoyed this as I was able to facilitate daily workshops with the kids throughout the summer, as well as help them with daily activities which I helped get stuck in with too such as swimming, basketball, water sports and general arts and crafts. Inspiring a whole new bunch of kids and getting to know them was what I enjoyed the most about my summer of 2013. Also it was an opportunity for me to learn new things although I was the teacher I learnt a lot about myself that summer, how I teach best and what approach to teaching is most effective with kids of different ages. Volunteering for me is not a job, task or chore, for me its more of a lifestyle as I plan to volunteer at least once each year until I am my own qualified teacher!
