Bio:
I have earned an MPhil degree in Biological Sciences from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad and am serving social development sector for past more than 13 years. During this period I worked with National, International and UN agencies. These include FPAP, Concern WW, Care International, UNOPS and UNDP. I travelled throughout Pakistan and served in the most fluid and complex environments during emergency and post emergency situations/projects as well as in development programs. This includes conflict prone areas of KP/FATA, south Punjab, SIND, Baluchistan and Gilgit Baltistan and enjoyed working with diverse teams and communities. While working with mentioned multiple organisations I seek knowledge and practical experience on project management, project coordination, capacity building, knowledge management and monitoring and performance measurement. Most recently I worked as Monitoring & Evaluation Officer with UNDP in “Sustainable development in Refugees Affected and Hosting Areas Programme” commonly known as –RAHA. This program was implemented by 7 UN agencies, 2 Provincial Planning and Development departments (KP and Balochistan) and Economic Affairs Division. I ensured progress by coordinating with Project Management Units in KPK and Baluchistan and other stakeholders and carried out regular analysis of programme performance and compiled progress report and annual work plans. I also worked with United Nations Office for Project Support (UNOPS) as Reporting and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. Working on above two positions helped me to internalise UN working environment, core values policies and procedures and program priorities. So you can plug and play. Most importantly, I have demonstrated HR and RBA to programing to cater needs of women, children and other vulnerable and marginalised groups throughout my career especially while working with FPAP for Girl child Education program by UNICEF, combating challenges for social protection and access to basic amenities for women and children in urban setting Concern WW and children rights in post conflicts Care international respectively.
