Bio: 
Oluseyi Fabiyi holds a PhD and Master Degrees in Geography with Biases in GIS and Remote Sensing and BSc degree in Urban and Regional Planning. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Human Resources Management from University of Liverpool. He is currently the CEO at GeoAfrica Environmental Managers Ltd, a Nigerian Environmental Company with offices in Abuja, Osogbo, and Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Fabiyi developed in 2008, the standard seamless Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) map for Monitoring Oil and Gas spill in Nigerian coastal Area. The map was adopted by the Federal Government of Nigeria as the standard instrument for oil spill management in coastal Nigeria. He was one of the team of four that developed the standard protocol and guidelines for preparation of Environmental Sensitivity Index maps in Nigeria for the oil and Gas sector. He also supervised the first small scale Abuja urban mapping project prepared from Quick Bird Satellite images in 2003. Fabiyi’s consultancy works specifically focused on Applied Geographic Information systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) in Urban and coastal environments change with specific reference to upstream oil and Gas sector, adaptation to climate change and ecosystem degradation. He has over 50 publications in both national and international high impact journals, conference proceedings and other academic outlets. He has also attended many international and local academic conferences. He was a winner of several research Grants and Awards including research grant for GIS application in the evaluation of Privatization of urban security in three African cities from French Institute for African Studies (IFRA) Ibadan,(2003), Post-doctoral fellowship grant for the French Institute for South Africa in 2005 to examine Gated communities and road closures in South Africa, University of Ibadan Senate research grant to use remote sensing data for monitoring environmental impacts of artisans miners activities in Oyo state in 2006, US based Global Change System for Analysis Research and training (START) research Grant on climate change adaptation in 2011, Ford Environmental Grant Award (2013). He is a member of several International and National learned societies such as, Association of African Remote Sensing for the Environment (AARSE), Geosciences and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS), Geo-information Society of Nigeria (GEOSON), Nigerian Environmental Society(NES), Urban Affairs Association, (UAA), Nigerian Institute of Town Planners, (NITP),
