Bio: 
I have been teaching primary for the past 6 years. Most recently in a special needs school. I enjoy being artistic, visual and practical in school. I am outgoing and like to be outdoors as much as possible. I have recently completed a Forest Schools certificate to allow me to teach children outdoors in a forest environment. I studied Zoology and have done alot of voluntary conservation work in the past. I like hillwalking, climbing and various sports. I have always wanted to visit Nepal so am hoping to combine a teaching placement with my visit.
Volunteering Experience: 
Broughty Ferry Environmental Project, Dighty Connect– Hands-on conservation work, Nature Nutter Sessions with young people, river, bird and butterfly surveys, wildflower and tree planting. Dundee Conservation Volunteers, helping out with a range of projects from dry stone dyking, native tree planting in community areas, felling of certain invasive species of tree such as sycamores, protection/clearance of certain shrub species like rhododendrons in our reserves, parks and SSSI's.
