Bio:
I am a senior in high school, I love life and I live it to its absolute fullest. I enjoy helping people and being around them. I've been volunteering since kindergarten and I gotta say I enjoy it alot! I am not a perfect person but that doesn't matter as long as I am helping people to be perfect than thats making me feel perfect. I believe in making the world a better place but first you should start by making YOU better! I know make no sense but yeah Instead of wanting the world to change, we should be the change we want in the world and that is what i am doing, that is what I want to do! I am a happy person, I enjoy exploring and learning new things, lets just say I'm AWESOME! Hahahahaha Im kidding. I just have a thing for helping people and since I was taught to help others as I want others to help me I just dont want to just say it but I want to walk the talk not talk the talk. Thats basically everything about me tata for now :D
Volunteering Experience:
I've volunteered at so many places my whole life and it was mostly handling animals, taking good care of them, and I also volunteer at my church doing food drive feeding the homeless. But one volunteer experience which I just recently finished was working in the Workforce Development Center, I not only made copies, answer phones, fax papers, and any office work you could think of i got the chance to meet new peoplefrom different backgrounds and most of them were the troubled ones who just freshly got out of prison, yeah I got to be around them helping them apply for jobs, make their resumes, get them ready for interviews and so much. If you're asking if it was scary I would say it was at first but than i realized I shouldnt judge a person by what they look like, what they wear, what they've done, where they're from they were probably the sweetest people you'll ever meet lol. I learned alot from volunteering their and that is to always treat people with the same respect you would expect them to treat you with, always be patient, and to always be the change i want in the world. Not only I got to deal with ex convicts but I also volunteered in a program called the JRT Job Readiness Training it was in the same company I was volunteering in but this program was for the single moms who need financial help and are inexperienced with working and getting jobs it was the same thing I did with the prisoners so yes I met alot of different types of individuals while volunteering there and It was an amzing experience and I enjoyed it alot! But if you guys want to know more about what I did there you can feel free to contact my supervisor from that company I volunteered in at 808-981-2860 extension 230.
