Bio:
I was born in Canberra, the capital city of Australia. My childhood was partially spent in Washington DC, though the majority of my education was done in Canberra. When I was 24 I went to the UK on a 2 year work visa and lived in London and Glasgow. I've travelled through parts of Spain, Andorra, and Germany, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. When not travelling, I spent a large portion of my working career in the Digital Forensic department of the Australian Federal Police. This involved extracting and analysing data from electronic devices and writing reports on said data for law enforcement purposes. Upon leaving the AFP I completed a graduate certificate in TESOL, though haven't performed any long term paid work in that area. I am not married, nor do I have children.
Volunteering Experience:
Spent about 6 months volunteering for the Australian RSPCA in their canine section. This involved puppy socialisation, dog walking, grooming, cleaning, basic training etc. Assisted a Vietnamese friend with her English via Skype and helped her apply for a scholarship in the UK which required strong English skills, which she achieved.
Education:
Adv Dip Computer Forensic, Graduate Certificate in TESOL, Cert IV in Training and Assessment
Occupation:
IT
Other Skills:
Computer building
Computer and communications interconnectivity
Vegetable growing and harvesting
Basic construction
Offroad driving
