Bio:
I am 19 years old and study English literature at university in Oxford. I love working and learning new things but I mostly love travelling and learning through first-hand experience. I have taken Japanese culture modules and in my spare time I enjoy watching documentaries about both animals and humans. I am dedicated in promoting animal rights and welfare and helping people less fortunate than myself. I love partaking in sports such as badminton but my main hobby is reading fiction novels and creative writing. I would eventually like to work for either the Nat Geo or the Foreign Office.
Volunteering Experience:
I have volunteered to work on a summer camp in Romania this July teaching English to younger people. I have volunteered in my local community helping older people walk their dogs and voluntarily worked at Hyper Japan on the Japanese Centre's booth. I am currently looking into volunteering opportunities in Asia and South America. I would love to work with animals or children and help them in all the ways I possibly could.
Education:
At A-Level I received 3 A*s and I have a 120-hour TEFL qualification.
