Bio:
Hello to all! My name is Renee and I am a passionate Chicana who lives by the quote of M. Gandhi- "Be the change that you want to see in the world!" I recently earned my Bachelors of Arts degree at the University of New Mexico just this past May. I am currently networking to make my way towards Humanitarian work- preferably in Central or Southern America! I have always had this passion to help the Refugees who are fleeing their Countries at this very moment, and it is time to start putting my passion into action! Some of my artwork touches upon La Bestia; the dangerous train which travels from Guatemala through Mexico, up to the USA. This is a perpetuating issue that is ignored too often, especially by our Governments! We must persist in unity to create change! I would love to connect and help alongside others who are mutually impacted by the positive words of Gandhi!
