Bio: 
born in South Africa and emigrated to Australia in 1975. Have 2 married sons and 3 grandsons in Australia. At present I am in South Africa visiting family and volunteering at Pietermaritzburg orphanage. I am trying to get a visa to stay longer than 3 months. I found out about your orphanage from a friend in Australia who said you need people over Christmas and I am keen to help out there. My work has given me 6 months leave without pay, to do volunteering. I work as a music therapist and Activities Coordinator at a nursing home. I have worked with disabled and autistic children and in kindergarted/ preschool in South Africa. I also have a TESOL teaching diploma and worked in CHina at a university teaching English. I love music, sports, exercise, games, fun, laughter and love poetry and reading.
Volunteering Experience: 
Presently at Indawo Ethemba in Pietermaritzburg. Always did voluntary work such as St Vincents de Paul president, outings for disabled, was a foster mother for 4 children, outings and activities with Nursing Home residents, massage and aromatherapy pro bono.
Education: 
Matriculated at OUr Lady of Fatima, Durban 1973; Arts degree at Monash, Melbourne 1982: music therap
