Bio:
I am an 18 year old girl who just finished high school. I come from a loving and happy family which I am so thankful for and willing to share the love and happiness with those who need it by helping and volunteer it. I was born in Torreón, Coahuila in Mexico. I am a big sports fan, specially a sucker for soccer. I`ve played soccer for almost 13 years now, yet I love mixing it up and trying different sports. I love reading, not only to myself, but to people. I also love cooking, hope I get to prepare some delicious mexican meals to the people in the program I get to attend. I choose to take a gap year before collage because I think it is very important to, not only recieve, but to give. We have to help our fellow brothers and sisters.
Volunteering Experience:
I have volunteer in small events here in Mexico, mostly 5-10k runs supporting child and women cancer. We make fundraisers in our school for blood donation, bake sales for our partnership school, which is basically a school that is made up of our donations. Here in Mexico, communities are mostly made up of private schools. I get to thank god for having the chance to attend the best private school in the state. Colegio Americano de Torreon (CAT) decided to run a non-profit school for those who need it. Students tutor kids after school and help prepare food. I also tutor my little bother and his friends. I know you might be looking for more experienced people, but I am just being honest. I`m not going to lie about my profile. Of course I would like to make help more causes, but for the moment that`s all I could do. I am willing to help even more people and gain that heart-full experiences.
