ORUKOTAN Omotinuolawa is a dedicated and experienced educator with comprehensive background in providing quality instruction and fostering a positive learning environment. She has a Bsc in cell Biology & Genetics, Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, all from the university of Lagos. Her wealth of experience was gathered from both primary and secondary education sector where she worked as a subject teacher and classroom teacher. Her outstanding performance in the internationally acclaimed schools where she has worked enabled her to climb the leadership ladder at an early stage in her career development. She has acquired in-depth managerial experience both as an assistant head teacher and a head teacher spanning over six (6) years. She has also undertaken professional development training in Effective Leadership & Management Structure for Schools, Transformational Leadership, Strategies for raising standard and increasing school population, Montessori Mathematics Curriculum, Early Childhood Care and Montessori Sensorial Education, Practical Life Montessori Workshop, Thematic teaching & Effective classroom Decoration, Poise & Etiquette e.t.c. from world class Nigerian schools and consulting companies like Greensprings schools, Grange schools, Meadow Hall Consult, FATE foundation and so on. These have resulted in her achieving several outstanding results from classroom observation, receiving best teacher of the year award and increasing the population of schools where she has worked within a short period of time. PRIOR VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE 1) RCCG (HOuse of Grace) - Teaching pupils who have difficulty reading who are already above 10 years how to read using phonics. 2) Facilitation of seminars for teachers in Nigerian private schools (within Ketu locality) to boost their self esteem and improve on their pedagogy. I am seeking to volunteer to impart the lives of less priviledged children who have limited access to formal education.
