Bio:
Hi! My name is Bella and I am a graphic designer who has great interest in social, educational, and cultural development in developing countries. I truly believe that every woman in this world deserves a chance to obtain equal position in career and social life as man does. I have heard heartbreaking stories of girls who are born to live with limited choices because of poverty, cultural restriction, social pressure, and lack of education. As a woman, I would like stand up for their right to have better chance of life. Although I am not a perfect teacher or role model, I would dedicate my skill, knowledge and energy to help them through education and empowerment. Therefore, I have joined numerous social projects and I cannot wait to be involved in the next life changing project!
Volunteering Experience:
One of the most exciting volunteering experience was when I participated as teacher in rehabilitation centre in Turkey. I found it interesting because I had a very tough challenge which was teaching english through body language and art to disable children. I spent my summer in Izmit, Kocaeli, Turkey with 23 other volunteer from around the world for the project called Break Up The Barriers, held by AIESEC. Previously, I was working as volunteer in AIESEC in Indonesia. My task was to help international volunteer teaching english to young students in local school. It was really fun getting along with people with varied age and giving positive impact to society.
