Bio: 
Modiri Onkabetse was Born In Mahalapye, was introduced to arts at primary school level, he obtained his Bachelors Deere in Theater Arts in 2014 from the University of Botswana, he has done many performances for both personal growth and academics. He is one of the pioneers of Visual and Performing Arts graduate form University of Botswana. Upon Graduation Mr Onkabetse spent most of his time with the Company at Maitisong and University of Botswana Visual and Performing Arts where he dedicated himself with helping these two organs with their projects. Modiri's approach to theatre is based on a desire to empower performers while using theater while addressing issues of oppression and discrimination to encourage empowered thinking and self-awareness, particularly to address issues of gender inequality .
Volunteering Experience: 
Modiri Onkabetse has worked with organization such as Phikwe Theatre Artists as a peer educator and Artistic Director on MCP under YOHO. He has also worked with Sky Girls as a street theater coordinator meant to empowering girls. Onkabetse went on to work with UBSCARS project using Theater against Gender Based Violence and also Stepping Stones in Mochudi where i used my drama skills to help children with disabilities.
