Bio:
My name is Minna and I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in the U.S., but have a Pakistani background. A little bit about myself: I enjoy learning about cultures and I love meeting people. Some of my hobbies include crafting (jewelry-making and painting), baking, writing, reading, and dancing. Moreover, I have a desire to connect with people and to truly improve the lives of others.
Volunteering Experience:
I have worked with the following organizations: Operation Impact (1 year): A club in which we helped children read in elementary schools. We also set up book drives to donate to underprivileged schools. Students for Equal Rights Senate (4 years): S.E.R.F. worked to fund for organizations around the globe. During my time there, we fundraised for the Agni Raksha Burn Clinic in India. Through bake sales, services, and fundraisers hosted by businesses, we raised thousands of dollars for the organization. My Stuff Bags Foundation (1 year): Raised for and put together packages for children who were in shelters after facing abuse and/or neglect. The Learning and Behavioral Center (Current): Work as a behavioral facilitator for children from 18 months to 18 years of age.
