Bio:
Hello! I am a student of Jacksonville State University, the friendliest campus in the south. I am a sociology and psychology double major. My interests lie in culture and inequalities. Presently, I am conducting my own research study on popular music and the social problems/inequalities expressed within lyrics. I hope to attend graduate school within the next two years to obtain a Master's degree in Sociology.
Volunteering Experience:
I have had a wide variety of volunteer experience, but I am looking for volunteer work that helps individuals globally. I have led group donation drives for Invisible Children of Africa, UNICEF Tap Water Project, and in the past Haiti earthquake relief and Japan earthquake relief. I also commit myself to a school organization that's entire goal is to help students fulfill personal, long term goals they have for themselves. This is my second year helping students seek out their personal dreams. Currently, I am seeking a volunteer experience that helps individuals with resources they need for a better life, for example water, shelter, education, equality etc.

Jacksonville State University Junior - Sociology/Psychology double major
Occupation:
University aide - Sociology research assistant
