Bio:
I have studied literature and also traveled around Europe. I have volunteered in different projects in my country and participated in many training courses. I have always wanted to learn more about different cultures, gain intercultural sensitivity and learn to recognize and deal with the differences between cultures, this is way I decided to do EVS. I did my short-term EVS in England, UK and now a want to continue and apply for the long-term. I think that this experience will help me to contribute more in my local community and society in general. I have been involved in many projects in my community as well in country level. Such as projects for protecting the environment, social networking, and how the social networks can contribute in the future self-development, digital storytelling, and also various Red Cross actions for helping the needed. I think that every young person should intercede for making the society more permissiveness because the future of it depends from them. Culture needs to be seen as a process, something that develops and flows, rather than a static thing. In my free time I like to go to theater and cinema, and I like reading not just like a part from my studies, but also as a mean to gain more knowledge and acceptance for the changes that we all must go through. l want to contribute and enthuse young people with limited space and resources and younger children by using a variety of mediums to stimulate informal learning. I can contribute to the idea of delivering informal and non-formal learning thorough arts, sports, and fun activities. And also, I can help with explaining the importance of young people participation in projects and cultural events. I think that this will contribute to the realization, that other cultural models are strange, and acceptance without judging, it will widen the cultural horizon (having more criteria of identifying other cultures), and multiple the opportunities for developing: knowledge, skills, and attitude. I am positive that I can learn a lot and also contribute with my knowledge and experience. I am eager to find ways to improve myself and I am ready to learn new things. It would be a great pleasure for me if you gave me a chance to contribute.
