Bio:
I’m 18 years old from New Jersey. I’m adopted from Shanghai, China. Came to the U.S. when I was 6 months old. I live with my aunt and cousins in White House Station at the moment. I have 2 standard poodles and 1 white retriever. I played soccer, cheerleading, all throughout high school. I like to bike ride, play video games, and journal in my free time. I’m just a big kid at heart, but I do know when to be serious. Graduated Bernards High School in 2015 with numerous awards such as the Platinum Award, for over 1,000 hours of community service. The elderly are my weakness. It breaks my heart to see them sometimes but ask anyone...I just love “old people. I planned on going to UNC and majoring in Public Health, and then getting my masters in Gerontology. But right now my life consists of working at a place called Pizza Brothers. I love what I do and I’m very good at it, if I do say so myself (been there for a little over a year). Going to community college at the moment, don’t know what I want to be when I "grow up”, all I know is that I want to be happy. And I find I am the happiest when helping other people and making their lives easier.I love to travel, I’ve never been outside the U.S. so I can’t wait to experience new things. I love helping and meeting new people. I absolutely love helping anyone in any little way that I can.
Volunteering Experience:
I’ve volunteered with Mane Stream, a horse camp for children with disabilities. Served at soup kitchens. Spend weeks rebuilding houses and cleaning up after Hurricane Sandy with my church mission trip. Camp counselor anywhere from age 4 to age 14. Volunteer life guard at the YMCA in Bergen County. I love working with kids! As well as animals. I’ve always enjoyed babysitting and being a camp counselor growing up. My main goal is to travel where ever needed and help who ever I can. Pretty simple, but that’s my motive. Just to find a purpose in life, whatever that may be.
Education:
High school graduate. 3.0 GPA. Some college credits, still in college
Occupation:
Waitress, Phone girl, Cook, Personal Assistant
Other Skills:
People Person
Big Organizational Skills
Experience with power tools
