Bio: 
The Rev. Marcia E M Davenport is a retired Episcopal (Anglican) priest with over twenty years of classroom teaching experience, working with children ages 4-18, as well as adults and teens. She has a Masters degree and advanced skills in Pastoral Counseling. Marcia grew up as an expatriate living in Germany, and speaks fluent German as well as native English. Her life esperience includes working and living in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Having retired successfully from a long career in the ministry, Marcia trained with a CELTA certificate to teach English as a second language. Marcia has also worked as a journalist, innkeeper and grief counselor among other jobs. A vibrant and engaging personality allows Marcia to meet and establish relationships easily and she adapts to new situations and living circumstances with skill and enjoyment.
Volunteering Experience: 
I have worked on mission ventures in Guatemala, Uganda and in the USA. I have recently completed a three month ESL teaching experience in S. Italy, and a one week vI volunteer English conversational program in Poland. I am seeking a short term volunteer opportunity with room and board included teaching English or other subjects (primary education) abroad.
