Bio: 
I graduated with an Economics degree at the University of Calgary. I managed my own media business and traded equity and derivatives. The media business, focused on website development and online marketing: SEO, SEM, PPC. After winding down by accepting an offer from a competitor for our contracts, I backpacked India, and South East Asia. I've always been a self starter and highly motivated. I'm currently working on learning guitar and Mandarin. I also play hockey and volleyball. My goal is to read a book every week, its a bit optimistic however, I fall short at about a book every two weeks. I'm also very good with tools, I did all the renovations on my own house and my parents house. I believe that every day you should strive to improve yourself, whether it be through gaining strength, or learning a new skill or improving upon a current skill and I believe you need to get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself.
Volunteering Experience: 
I volunteer with Junior achievement, its a program that teaches elementary and highschool students about financial planning, budgeting, saving, investing etc. to ensure they are prepared to deal with these issues from an early age.
