Bio:
I am a current Government and History undergraduate student studying at the London School of Economics and Political Science. On weekends, so I able to earn and save up some money, I work at a retail store called Joy. Throughout the year, I have also been taking Italian lessons and can subsequently speak Italian to an intermediate level. While at university, I also actively participate in my university's Italian Society and its Raising and Giving Society. In my spare time, I enjoy going for runs and playing football.
Volunteering Experience:
In 2012, while I was completing my A-levels, I volunteered as a shop floor assistant at my local Oxfam Charity Shop. It involved being a point of contact for customers who enter the store; greeting them and pointing out items they are looking for; working in the stock room, organizing and pricing items; re-stocking shelves by putting out the new items; and boxing books and clothes that need to be sent off to other shops. During my first year at university, I actively participated in my university's Raising and Giving Society. In particular, I was a fundraiser for Worldwide Cancer Research. Working as part of a team of twelve other university students, I organised lunch box sales, music nights, tube collections and presentations all with the aim of raising money for Worldwide Cancer Research; I myself successfully managed to fundraise £750; fundraising with a charity was an amazing experience as it not only opened the door for me to get involved in campus life, but it also helped me improve my perseverance skills and allowed me to prove my determination to reach a fundraising target
Education:
A-levels, achieving: A* in History; A* in English; A in Chemistry; and A in Maths.
Occupation:
Style Advisor at Joy (Retail Store).
Other Skills:
Strong communication skills.
