Bio:
I am 19 years old, Guatemalan, am proficient in three languages (English, Spanish, French), and am a sophomore biology major at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am pursuing a career in the medical field and am looking for volunteer opportunities this summer while I am at home. While I am looking to volunteer for organizations connected to my interest in career, I am also completely open to volunteer opportunities of other sorts. I am mainly looking to put my time and effort into doing something for my community this summer and focusing on giving back. I want to help out in any way possible. I am specifically passionate about educating the youth, taking care of the environment, medicine, and helping those with little access to basic needs. I'm great with both kids and adults, have experience in teaching as well as leadership, and am a caring, motivated, and determined individual. I am available to volunteer all summer (July-September).
Volunteering Experience:
