Bio:
Mom to three teens and married to the love of my life for nearly 17 years. Eventually I would like to be a full time missionary but for now getting opportunities to volunteer short term would be wonderful. I love sports, traveling, adventure and coffee! I think that helping others is what makes the world go round. I'm artistic, practical and extremely empathetic. I love to meet people right where they are and help in tangible ways. I love love love kids of all ages, when I'm around kids I feel most like myself.
Volunteering Experience:
I've volunteered at various local church events. As a teenager, I went on a missions trip to Mexico and it shaped my heart forever. I would love to have the money and opportunity to volunteer lots more out of country but if helping locally is all I'm able to do now, that would be wonderful too. There are needs all over the planet, not just in third worlds, although that's where my heart is.
Education:
I have a certificate from a trade school for Medical Assisting.
Occupation:
Payroll Administration
Other Skills:
Phlebotomy
Some nursing skills like attaining vitals and assisting in minor surgeries.
