Bio:
I'm soon to be an 'adult', and rather than going out 'partying' etc., which really isn't my thing, I'd love to experience something that is rewarding for both myself and for others. I'd love to work hard and know that I'm benefiting someone else also. I feel a real need to help people in need, despite their background, age, gender etc. I am at a stage where I'm really seeking to discover myself and I feel that to do that I need to experience the world and help to change whatever I have the power to. I'm looking for discipline and something that will push my limits and help me to become the best that I can be. I think it would be selfish and illogical to do this with the sole hope of simply bettering myself, when I can, in the process, help others. Whether that's humans or animals or communities as a whole, I'm for it.
Volunteering Experience:
I've done a small amount of volunteering in the past such as carol singing for charity, spending one day a week for 3 months in a nursing home, collecting money for charity and bag packing. I haven't really done anything more exciting than this, although I still find it very rewarding to do the smallest of things. I love to help people in any way, even if it's a very indirect, minute kind of help. Although I'm more than happy to do anything at all, I would love to push myself to the limit and discover myself whilst helping an individual, my community or someone elses, animals or the environment. I feel like I have an understanding for people and I strive to help all the time. In any way I can.
Education:
I have completed GCSES and currently studying A-Levels. Hoping to continue to University.
Occupation:
Unemployed/student.
Other Skills:
Music (primarily the piano), art, listening.
