Bio:
My name is La Viola, but my friends call me Viola. I am 30 and a mother of one. I work very hard and hope one day to be a great contributor to the small community in central California that I was raised in. I have a love of diversity, and hope to someday explore cultures around the world. I am passionate about literature, and would love to read with children across the globe. I believe that education is the key to advancement in any society. I am a lifelong lover of learning, and I hope to reach out to different communities across the world and share my love for learning and my compassion with them. Also, I am a very hard worker. I work a full-time job, and am also pursuing my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Multicultural Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I eventually plan to obtain my doctorate and hope to provide multicultural counseling services in different parts of the world where access to mental health services is limited or nonexistent.
Volunteering Experience:
I have volunteered at church-based and education -based locales throughout California and across the US. With my church, I volunteered with local youth groups in California, Ohio, Tennessee, and throughout California. I also volunteered in the classroom with grad levels pre-k-10th. I have had a wealth of teaching and volunteer experience, and I love working with children of all ages.
