Bio:
I graduated in 2012 with a Marketing Major and Sales Specialization Minor from Michigan State University. I've been living in Chicago, Illinois for the last three years. I'm currently working as an Account Manager within IT and was looking for a program that was about 5-7 days so that including traveling I would be gone no more than about 10 days. I love traveling and volunteering so becoming involved within Volunteer Alliance seems like a great fit.
Volunteering Experience:
I'm very active in giving back to my community. I found a passion in volunteering after I graduated college and moved to Chicago. I recently ran in the 2015 Chicago Marathon on behalf of the Aids Foundation of Chicago which is one of the nonprofit organizations I have been involved with for the last year. I'm also an Ambassador for the YWCA, an organization geared toward empowering women and eliminating racism, and have been on that nonprofit board since April of 2014. Lastly, I'm the secretary of the MSU Alum Society of Chicago, where we focus on giving back to the community in a variety of ways throughout the year. I've been on that board since the summer of 2014 and was appointed to secretary in July of 2015.
Education:
Bachlor's Degree in Marketing with Sales Specialization from Michigan State University
Occupation:
IT Account Manager
