Bio: 
My name is Julia. I am a Registered Nurse. I am currently enrolled in the graduate program for my Master's in Nursing, with a primary heath care practitioner Nurse Practitioner extended class. I have an avid interest in health and fitness. I enjoy working with children and with elderly. I participate in community initiatives such as The Run for the Retina, Multiple Sclerosis Walk, Dairy Capital Run, Forest City sports and Recreation, Kensall Park Soccer league, and Ontario Physique Association. I was on the Dean's Honour's List upon completion of my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I currently am on the Dean's Honor's list in graduate studies. I work in a trauma unit full time and assist with dental sedation casually for people of all ages.
Volunteering Experience: 
Below is a list of previous volunteer experiences. However, I do not have any recent volunteer experiences. I am looking forward to volunteering to work with children who live in a marginalized area. I am currently looking to provide something back to the community to make a difference around them. I want to provide the children an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience. I also want to be able to gain leadership skills that can help further develop my skills as a Nurse Practitioner. Working with a child with Ventricular Septal Defect 2008 Volunteer Experience, Ingersoll, Ontario  Responsible for integrating child into activities of daily living  Responsible for tube feeding and any nursing care needed  Integrating child into sport activities such as hockey Latino Women Research Project 2009 Volunteer Experience, London, Ontario ■ Provided a literature review of Latino women with postpartum depression ■ Review of board of ethics, funding, board committee, and previous studies ■ Assisted in interview questionnaire based on literature review ■ Reviewed common sites available for postpartum women (Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo, etc…), as well as Mother Reach, Canadian Mental Health, etc… for support groups Budget Travel Warehouse 2010-2014 Volunteer with Travel Agency  Assist with workshops and set-up for travel shows  Assist making pamphlets Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Woodstock - volunteer set-up for community events. 2006-2011.
