Bio:
I truly enjoy helping others and meeting new people from different cultures. I served my country in the Air Force for a period of 9 years and was able to spend time in Middle Eastern countries including Turkey. I have never been able to truly experience Europe and the vast array of cultures that encompass that region of the word. I want to spend the rest of my life on this earth in a productive and enriching way in helping others and spending time with people that I would never meet lest I step out and take that leap of faith in traveling to places unknown to me. I have a good heart and talents that God has bestowed upon me and it would be selfish for me to not share those talents and abilities in helping others. I pray that I will soon be able to begin to fulfill the desire of helping others in new and exciting places in this world we all live in together.
Volunteering Experience:
Emergency room liaison for families in stressful and emotional situations involving family members being in high risk life and death situations due to illness or serious injury. Administrative and internet technology support for various non-profit organizations primarily focused in the area of drug and alcohol rehabilitation for men. Facilitating life skills training for men and spending time with them in planning for their future and establishing attainable goals in becoming productive men with integrity.
Education:
High school graduate, some college including intermediate psychology and addiction based courses.
Occupation:
Retired
Other Skills:
Computer skills, administrative, peer support skills and numerous labor based skills
