I am 57 years old, have raised my children and completed my nursing and Psychology studies. 40 years nursing/midwifery experience. I have travelled extensively through Asia, Europe and have spent time in 3rd world places, that is where I am most comfortable. I have community nursing experience and have worked with isolated outback communities in Australia and Africa. I am fit, strong and very healthy, I attribute this to my non smoking, non drinking vegetarian lifestyle. I am energetic +++ and like to keep busy, I make the most of every hour of every day. I adapt to surroundings and people quickly. As much as I love nursing I would be very keen to take part in something different eg re-building projects.
Volunteering Experience: 
6 years with Sids&Kids counselling bereaved parents, fundraising, general office duties. 2 Years Ronald McDonald house fundraising, general office duties 1 year primary Ethics program teaching Recently have worked with a surgical team in Africa for 2 weeks doing fistula surgery, I enjoyed this more than anything I have done in my life so far and an very keen to do much more of this kind of volunteering while I am still fit and able.
