Bio:
I'm Jess and I'm 18 years old - my main passion in life is acting and making people laugh. I have a completely laid back attitude but embrace all opportunities that i am faced with. I am crazy and fun but love a challenge and i consider myself extremely hard working when it gets to it. I want to be able to say one day that i travelled the world and really helped make a difference along the way. Travelling has given me many life skills that i hope to further advance in the coming years.
Volunteering Experience:
I have recently just returned from Guatemala in Central America after volunteering and living with a local family for 3 months. I had the opportunity to teach in one of the most dangerous secondary schools in Guatemala City - teaching English and drama classes as well as workshops on sexuality, human rights, conflicts and many others. I completely immersed myself into the culture of Guatemala and thoroughly enjoyed every experience. I also, with my team, built a school and local library for the community whilst over there in Summer 2015.
Education:
10 GCSES (A*-C) and 4 Level 3 Qualifications from Sixth Form
Occupation:
Bar attendant
Other Skills:
Team Work
Leadership Skills
Hard Working Attitude
A big heart to complete the project
