Bio:
I am 26 years old, and since I was a child my parents taught me the importance of traveling. First we went to England when I was 4 years old, where we lived for 7 months, then Germany to visit my family, after that I travelled to the United States, around Brasil, Uruguai, Argentina. When I was 19 years old I spent a year and a half in New Zealand, Australia. I think that traveling inspired me wanting to learn always more about places, cultures as much as understanding their existing differences. Most importantly, I became aware of the fact that our world needs protection and caring in many levels. I grew up in Florianopolis, an island located in southern Brazil, surrounded by nature, beaches and happy people and always loved the ocean. I took a scuba diving course, and could admire the underwater species, and understood the need to respect and preserve this habitat. At the moment I am finishing my master course in Oceanography in Germany, in the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel. I noticed that now with all skills learned during my life, I would like to help people and the planet.
Volunteering Experience:
I do not have any volunteering experience at the moment. But since I was a child I always brought home street dogs, and took care of them until they where healthy and helped them finding a new home. I would like to work somewhere where I could help people. To improve there life quality in different aspects, to be able to share what I have learned and what I got.
