Bio: 
I studied Geography at Newcastle University and graduated in 2006 with a First Class Degree. I then worked as a Research Assistant for the Centre for Land Use and Water Resources Research at Newcastle Uni, and managed a European Aid Cooperation funded project called Re-Impact Rural Energy Impacts with study areas and partners in India, Africa and China. Whilst working I submitted my PhD thesis "Sustainability of Bioenergy Projects in Rural Areas of Developing Countries: Social Impacts and Stakeholder Dynamics in India and Uganda" in 2011. Since then I worked for the Institute for Sustainability at Newcastle as a Research Coordinator, where I undertook a project in Peru on social impact assessment in Lobitos on the northern coast with EcoSwell. I moved to UCL in 2015 to take up the post of Strategic Research Facilitator in the Environment Domain.
Volunteering Experience: 
I volunteered with EcoSwell in March 2014 in Lobitos, northern Peru to do a social impact assessment for development projects.
