Bio:
Hard working and extremely eager to make working with and helping animals my career. I am very passionate about working with all types of animals, primates are a particular favourite of mine. I am very passionate about nature and preserving the environment. Very passionate about conservation and preserving species. I would eventually like the travel the world, and hopefully find an animal conservation centre where I can contribute and hopefully make a difference. It takes me a little while to come out of my shell, but I am very friendly and always willing to help out.
Volunteering Experience:
I have been volunteering with Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation since September 2015, this isn't a long time I am aware, however, it wasn't until I committed to an animal based degree that I believed I could make a career out of working with animals. I work hands on with a number of Husky dogs, cleaning enclosures, feeding, administering medication, public demonstrations and experiences, exercising and socializing. I also work hands on with the birds of prey including; flying, feeding, cleaning aviaries and public demonstrations and experiences. I am eager to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible to help me gain a position in the industry which allows me to help rehabilitate and if possible re-release into the wild. I am also keen to work abroad so relocating or moving abroad isn't a problem for me. I am looking for any work that would allow me to work in close proximity to animals as this is my dream. I have also volunteered with children, coaching and training them dancing and technique.
Education:
Currently studying for a degree in Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare
Occupation:
Working part time as an office assistant
Other Skills:
Waitressing
Have worked as a finance assistant
