I am a peace minded Ethiopian citizen who wants to make a positive change into his country, in the areas of Public Health & development, I am very excellent in the area of Communication since I can speak two UN language English and Arabic I also speak Somali and Amharic , . Moreover, I took a diploma in Computer Application Programs so I have good IT background; now working with UNHCR as a verification clerk since 28th April 2014. I was given an individual contact to assist in continuous registration. During my assignment as a verification clerk, I am doing the following tasks: - conducting data entry at ProGres - Involving in on-spot verification during the exchange of proof of registration for refugee population in Kobe Refugee camp. - Using the finger prints to verify the new arrivals before we enter their data at proGres -Assisting in screening the new arrivals by filling a form with them to decide if they fall under the 1951 convention or the 1969 OAU convention and if they have exclusion triggers to not. I believe my talent and motivation would be an asset to your organization, Moreover, I have the ability to complete various tasks at a given time period, I am good with people, knowledgeable in the field of Public Networking , and I have good Consoling skill In addition, I also worked for WHO as I involved in polio vaccination monitoring as independent monitoring personal for 6 polio campaigns. During this experience, I used to monitor and do data entry in WHO database. Furthermore, I worked in Humedica International Aid for 8 months in Malkadida refugee camp. During my assignment, I worked as a health officer and I worked directly with refugees. I was also a volunteer in Dolo Ado health center for three months and I had an internship at Saint Michiel Higher Clinic as public health office for 3 months. I have BSC degree in Public Health and this study helped me to gain lots of skills that I am currently using while dealing with refugees. In addition to the public health subjects I studied at university, I studied public health, Internal medicine , surgery, pediatrics ,genecology ,pathology ,communicable disease ,Nutrition ,anatomy ,physiology phycology, sociology and environmental health and therefore I have good counseling skills. Moreover, I took a diploma in Computer Application Programs during the period from 2006 and 2007 so I have good IT background; I am committed and hard worker The key strengths that I possess for success in this position include:- • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team and with colleagues from various cultural and professional background • Strong strategic and creative thinking and organizational skills • Capacity to motivate multi-cultural, national and local staff • Demonstrated gender awareness and gender sensitivity • Excellence analytical skills • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Excellence of report writing • Excellence level of Computer literacy I am highly experienced Personnel Practitioner with a comprehensive and strategic understanding of needs and technical issues and organizational change able to devise and implement coherent strategies whilst improving internal processes and procedures within a demanding environment.
Volunteering Experience: 
Sept, 2010-Oct 30 2012 worked as volunteer in Saint Michael higher clinic, as a Health Officer, in Addis Ababa, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Investigating and diagnosing sick and injured patients on their ailments and then arranging appropriate treatments for them.  Updating and maintaining accurate patient records.  Learning about the medical history of a patient to ensure they have no allergies etc.  If necessary referring patients to hospitals or specialist clinics for further investigation.  Planning staffing duties and rota's for medical staff.  Prescribing medical prescriptions to patients.  Involved in the day to day running the practice.  Organising specialist neonatal clinics for pregnant mother, diabetes, health eating etc.  Ensuring a safe work environment for the patients and staff.  Giving appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers' to enable self management.  Ensuring co-ordination and delivery of all work activities within area of responsibility. Of all the jobs or activities that I have performed throughout my life, those which I performed voluntarily have given me the highest possible satisfaction or utility. This shows me that I can increase my utility by voluntarily assisting the vulnerable and the needy in their struggle against poverty and in their efforts in bringing better development
