Hi. My name is Hristi and I'm 24 years old. I'm a senior at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Macedonia. My major is Translation and Interpreting in English and German. I would define myself as an outgoing, honest, caring, entertaining person.
Volunteering Experience:
1. Cultural diversity training and work for peace, German War Graves Comission in Rottweil, Germany - I have to say that as a participant in this organization I learned a lot. I was part of an international group of 25 people, from all around the world. The main cause of us being there was to learn about the tragic destiny of the people imprisoned in the concentration camps in Germany and to maintain the memorial graves of the people who died in the concentration camps in WWII. We also visited the concentration camps, memorials, and famous places throughout Germany. 2. Cultural diversity training and work for peace German War Graves Comission in Hamburg, Germany - This was the second work-camp I took part in. This one was just like the camp in Rottweil but, this time we visited the concentration camp “Neuengamme” which I have to say was a very interesting experience.
