Bio: 
A student at the University of East Anglia studying International Development. Possessing excellent inter-personal and communication skills through volunteering at New Routes to facilitate the integration of disadvantaged ethnic minorities and working a wide variety of jobs. Particularly interested in women’s empowerment and gender based conflict and hoping to make an effective contribution to this field of research after my studies.
Volunteering Experience: 
Volunteering once a week at New Routes, a social centre that promotes the inclusion and integration of disadvantaged ethnic minorities. Skills/Duties • Contributing towards social and racial cohesion by building positive images and new connections with people from a vast array of background, thus being a part of the wider community. • Helping to develop skills of disadvantaged minority individuals through Homework Club and Art Club. Communication and interpersonal skills are vital as well as having a patient, approachable and non-judgemental manner.
