Bio:
I am an enthusiastic hard working 18 year old from the south coast of England currently finishing my final year of college. I hope to attend university in the future but currently have no idea what i want to do. So rather than waste a year or more of my life staying at home and working in retail until i figure out what i wish to do, i aim to experience as much of the world as possible whilst i can. During my time before further education, i am looking to immerse myself in as many different cultures and communities as possible over the coming years. My aim is to both gain as many unique experiences as i can from each individual community, as well as having the chance to make a positive impact to every individual i come across in order to pay back to these communities that i will be lucky enough to visit. As an individual that has been lucky enough to grow up with loving friends and family, as well as the opportunity to do whatever i wish with my life, i feel that it is an obligation to help those that have not been so fortunate in anyway that i possibly can. If at the end of my volunteering i am able to take one thing away from the places i visit and people that i will meet, it will be that i have benefited and made a difference to at least one persons life, if not many.
Volunteering Experience:
I currently have not had any experience in volunteering but i am looking to volunteer in local homeless charities over the summer before travelling to other countries to volunteer.
Education:
9 GCSE's including Maths and English, AS level Chemistry Biology and Psychology
Occupation:
working in retail
Other Skills:
I am very creative leading to a very hands on and practical approach to any challenges i face.
I have participated in school sports teams including rugby and see myself as a sporty individual.
I have previously worked in busy environments where effective team working skills are vital.
