Bio: 
Hady Sedky is a construction Engineer. He has been in the field of construction engineering for 5 years. He has worked in many leading construction companies such as Mokhtar Ibrahim for road construction project, Dream Land City for constructing and ensuring quality control for the compound facilities. In addition, he carried out steel structure designs for Procter and Gamble Factory. Moreover, he was quality control engineer at NEWGIZA Company. One of the most influential experiences is working for international developmental organizations as consultant engineer. Hady Sedky worked for the catholic relief services as Team leader for site Engineers on Egypt Emergency rehabilitation Project in Upper Egypt in addition to supporting Iraq Emergency project in Erbil by steel shelters and hospitals. Currently, Hady is consultant engineer for Save the Children International project on public school renovation project for school-aged refugees students from Syria. Hady is passionate, innovative hard-working engineer who looks forward to opportunities where he could apply his acquired knowledge and experiences in the field of consultancy as well as gain additional experience. Volunteering Experience: 
December 2015 until present Consultant Engineer: Save the Children International The Project is funded by Global Affairs Canada and aims at improving access to quality formal and education Center in protective learning environment for vulnerable school aged boys and girls from Syria an Egypt. Scope of Responsibilities: - Physical assessment of 34 schools to identify renovation needs - Drafting a tender request for a contractor. The tender should include all the responsibilities, technical requirements and specs for the renovation process. - The consultant will be a part of the bidding committee to choose the best contractor technically and financially - Direct supervision of the contractor implementing renovations including checking and approving samples/materials used in the process. - Conduct regular technical inspection visits to assure work is in compliance with the requirements, specifications and quality standards, and according to the agreed upon timeframe. - Prepare weekly reports on updates, observation and recommendations about work progress and prepare monitoring reports after field visits with technical comments if needed. - Prepare and issue the “Certificate of Completion of Work” after assessing renovation compilation. November 2014 until December 2015 Quality control engineer, NEWGIZA Company Scope of Responsibilities: - Responsible for 27 villas and 3 buildings from soil filling to finishing. Phases of the project: Soil filling and rapier for soil layers, Compacting for soil layer before concrete, BC concrete, RC concrete (foundation – Columns – Slaps), Insulation, Masonry Work, Plaster Work, Plumping Work, Electricity Work, Painting Work (Internal and External Work). - Submitting a daily report on field labors and machines by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations - Review the design of all part before launching using AutoCAD. - Supervising the construction and quality control of all villas by maintaining American society of quality control certified quality engineer qualification.
