Bio:
I have always seen myself as being different from people and I take pride in it. I do not like to follow the conventional path in life. This is part of the reason why I quit my previous job to discover myself better. I am a courageous and open-minded person. I developed this open-mindedness when I went abroad for a student exchange programme to Argentina for a year. Therefore, cultural shock is not a new thing to me and will be less shocking in the future. ;) I dare to try and experience new things and take up challenges. I dared to move to Singapore to work on my own. Even though I had several relatives there, I did not ask or seek for their help because I like to be independent. My ability to see things from different perspectives. This has allowed me to achieve a level of understanding with people which not everyone can. I am also kind, friendly, optimistic, outgoing, and adventurous. I have a great sense of humour too. I may not always be talkative, but if I am, then it means the conversation is flowing both ways and we can get along very well.
Volunteering Experience:
My interest in doing some volunteer work came about before I started working. In fact after completing my degree course, I was looking for volunteer work before looking for a job. However, I changed my mind and decided to work awhile first. I do not have much experience volunteering. During my tertiary studies, I led a group of students from the same institution as me, to an orphanage home for a 1 day visit. Plans and arrangements for that visit were made many weeks before it happened. On the day itself, we carried out several activities such as playing football (it was an all boys orphanage), some mind challenging games, and celebrated the birthdays of those who had birthdays that month. Besides that, another volunteer work I have done on several occasions is helping out a student exchange organisation. Most of the time, I volunteered at orientation camps before the students went abroad for their exchange programmes. I helped to share my knowledge to the participants and provide more detailed assistance to those who were going to the same country as I did, Argentina.
Education:
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies
Occupation:
Unemployed
Other Skills:
Spanish
Basic computer knowledge e.g Microsoft office.
