Bio:
I am a 19 year old student at the London School of Economics, studying Geography. I study Geography because I love to learn about the world; and have spent 5 months this year in sub-Saharan Africa. I am passionate about the ocean and also recently qualified as a PADI divemaster. Originally, I am from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire where I grew up from the age of 5.
Volunteering Experience:
I have spent time in Ethiopia teaching English to pupils aged 12-18. I have also visited a number of schools assessing project progress and success to determine the allocation of funding, and observed teaching of local teachers methods to maximize learning in class. During my time in Ethiopia I also visited sponsorship families and helped with project documentaries. In Madagascar I've had experience teaching English to primary aged children and been involved in construction/building projects. I've also taught primary level English and had experienced with marine conservation work in Mozambique while pursuing a Divemaster internship there. Additionally, in the UK I have had hands-on work experience on farms.
Education:
Currently university student at the LSE, first year undergraduate. Prior: A*A*A at A Level
