Bio:
Ive spent most of my life here in Spruce Grove. Working varies jobs and being involved in sports. After being laid off in February of 2015 ( I was a Safety Specialist for an Oilfield company along with doing Environmental work for them), a friend and I purchased a motor home an went traveling through and up the Oregon and Washington Coast where we ended up on Vancouver Island. My friend had been called back to work overseas so I made the decision to carry on our journey. I ended up Volunteering on a Certified Organic Blueberry farm and also on their Commercial Salmon boat. After 4 months, I returned back to Spruce Grove where I am currently working at an Agricultural Store. Being on the farm, it opened my eyes to an entire different way of living and I would love to be able to pay it forward with the dedication and hard work that I possess. I really enjoyed helping in many different ways and for little in return ( I was paid in food and accommodations). That being said, the joy I felt was explainable as this family opened their home and hearts to me, now I would like to do the same and help others!
