Bio:
I am a fun, enthusiastic, outgoing person who is up for anything. I am currently in my second year at the University of Manchester studying Spanish and Business. I am currently trying to organise my year out (next year) and would prefer only go to university for a semester (in either Chile or Cuba) and spend the rest of my time volunteering, This reflects another characteristic of mine, I am also compassionate. I love music and being creative, plus working with other people in a group or individually. I am organised and attentive both able to work in a team and independently. I have moved around a lot and therefore, can adjust myself to different situations and locations as I am flexible and accustom to change.
Volunteering Experience:
I used to volunteer at a care home for people with Alzheimers and a school for severely mentally and physically disabled children between the ages of 5-19. Plus I spent some time helping in a village in Pemba, Tanzania. I currently volunteer at a cafe and safe place for the LGBT+ community and bucket collect, face to face fundraise for various charities including Teenage cancer Trust and recently World AIDS Day. Due to school I have always been restricted to volunteer in the UK and not for a continuation long period of time. Therefore I am looking to go to a Spanish speaking country where I hope speaking both Spanish and English will be an asset, helping people in a setting that is different to what I have experienced before.
