Carla Calobrisi Leadership Coach/Lawyer Carla Calobrisi is an accomplished leadership coach and lawyer. Ms. Calobrisi specializes in coaching leaders, guiding them through professional transitions and helping them achieve career advancement and other goals. After practicing law for twenty-six years, Ms. Calobrisi completed the highly respected Georgetown University Leadership Coach Program, which is accredited by the International Coach Federation (“ICF”). Upon completion of her first year of coaching, she received the Associate Certified Coach designation from the ICF. She is also certified to interpret Hogan Inventories to assess personalities and predict professional performance. Ms. Calobrisi has achieved success with clients who have overcome work related obstacles and have advanced in their careers. Ms. Calobrisi assists individuals to achieve professional goals through examination of day to day interactions, identifying patterns, discovering options and advancing objectives through listening and focused sharing. Ms. Calobrisi assists newly promoted individuals to reflect on familiar behaviors, to identify those needed for success and to embrace those in their new management roles. She coaches individuals in transition and assists them to examine their values, explore opportunities, prepare their “elevator speech” and practice interviewing through role playing. Ms. Calobrisi received her law degree from The George Washington University with honors, is admitted to the United States Supreme Court and is a member of the Bars of the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia. She spent 14 years practicing law in Washington, DC law firms, followed by 12 years as a Director and Associate General Counsel in the Law Department of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., an international management consulting company. Ms. Calobrisi served as Assistant Secretary of Booz Allen and was the lead attorney for real estate and commercial transactions. Ms. Calobrisi traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Australia handling a broad range of legal matters for the company and is experienced in cross cultural exchanges and challenges. Ms. Calobrisi also served as a facilitator of the company’s Diverse Women’s Mentoring Circle and was an active member of Booz Allen’s Sustainability Committee, promoting corporate responsibility to protect the environment. She is a Board Member of Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children, a non-profit association serving the needs of autistic individuals in Montgomery County, Maryland. Ms. Calobrisi approaches clients with empathy and understanding while being encouraging and supportive of their pursuits. She has prepared training programs on various topics, such as “Finding Your Seat at the Table” and “Bulletproofing Your Career.” She provides pro bono leadership coaching for leaders of nonprofit organizations. Teaching, mentoring and coaching have been passions for Ms. Calobrisi throughout her career. She is delighted to dedicate her experience and skills to these pursuits. I have been a member of the board of directors of Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children in Montgomery County, Maryland for over six years. I served as a volunteer mentor for women reentering the job force for the Northern Virginia Women's Center. I also served on the board of a homeowners association.
